The importance of weighing yourself

There a host of different schools of thought on this point but I’m firmly in the camp of daily weighing – it gives you daily results on your progress, and you learn about how your body responds to different foods, times of eating and exercise. That means you can get used to weight variation patterns so you won’t get discouraged if your weight goes up or down. Plus, if you love .6 of pound one day then you’ll be super happy!

Now, looking at which scales to use! Analog scales, rather like analog TV are set to be a thing of the past in a few years. They don’t give sharp readings and are prone to degrading over time. Digital scales on the other hand measure true every time and can be accurate up to a tenth of a pound! In short, for the massive bonus they give, there really is no excuse for not spending the fifteen or so dollars on a set of new scales so you can log your weight loss accurately and without fear of getting false readings.

And we all know that when you’re trying to lose weight it’s really easy to get disheartened if you don’t see much of a change week on week, even though it might just be your body plateauing. This is where accurate digital scales can really come into a world of their own by showing you even small chances in your weight each day or week which helps to keep you positive and on the straight and narrow! Accurate scales are a god send to dieters, they let you see every little improvement you make and keep you optimistic and forward looking!

So, get down to the local store and pick up a set of digital scales and start a weight loss diary so you can see those changes occurring all the time and the weight just disappearing all the time! We honestly think you’ll be amazed at how much of a difference it can make to your dieting in just a short time and then continue to make well into the future with weight just easily slipping off and then staying off as the months and weeks move on!
