  1. Weigh yourself each day! Weighing yourself once a week leaves you open to the massive risk of your weight being a bit weird that day, maybe a little bit higher or a bit lower due to a combination of factors that really don’t give a fair reflection of your weight loss overall. Therefore I recommend weighing yourself each day so that you can see a more general trend over time which will help you understand much more about how you are losing weight. Plus, if you can see a change each day then you’ll remain optimistic and you’re more likely to maintain your diet and shed that weight even quicker
  2. Use a good weighing scale! There’s nothing worse than not really knowing where you are in your diet and an inaccurate scale can be a large part of that, so I advise you grab yourself a digital scale that can measure to an accuracy of a couple of pounds. That way you can keep a track of your weight loss over time without worrying about bad readings or having to use different scales all around the place!
  3. Drink plenty of water! Eight glasses of water really isn’t a lot to drink and so it’s a really easy thing to slip into your diet without having to think too much about it but the benefits are fantastic. Being well hydrated will keep you more awake an able to concentrate throughout the day of work and when you get home at night and want to spend time with your kids and family. Plus you can use the water to kill food cravings whenever they strike without having to think about fat or calories or even carbs because water it complete neutral! So simple – drink more water!!
  4. Tell your friends that you’re dieting. We use friends all the time to help pick us up when we’re down or when things go wrong, so why not employ their friendship when you’re trying to lose weight? These are the people that know you best, how to keep you dieting well and how to encourage you to keep going in a better way. Moreover, if you start eating the wrong foods then your chums can stop you there and then and help you continue to shed the pounds week on week. Furthermore, if they’re know you’re a diet they also won’t feel bad by pointing out that you’re looking thinner – and they know you won’t just be offended!
